Volchek (our death knight off tank) rounded them up and we AOE'd them down. At the end we just concentrated fire on the boss.

Just was wondering cause when I did this with some other people, on normal mode they just had me gather all the adds as they came and just keep them on me..which well led to me nearly dieing more then once cause when they get hit by the wall of fire, which is nearly imposible to keep them out of, it seems like, they hit mega hard. Heroic I was trying to round them up and we where dpsing them down, which was easier said then done, had a harder time seeing them on heroic.

The greatest thing about having Volchek OT the adds? When Mags got an elemental on him, he would call out, Vol would then do the DK snatch and grab and the stray elemental was instantly back with his buddies, getting AOE loving.

You can also just have a Prot Pally consecrate and whatnot to round them all up. That talent for DK tanks is clutch though, especially on spark duty for Malygos.
Congrats on the kill

I would say that the best OT for OS as a whole is either a Paladin or a Death Knight. with the fire adds on Sarth and the Hatchlings on that other fight, AoE tanking is a major help.

Currently, the prevailing thought is you should have three tanks for OS (10 or 25-Man):
MT - DK is said to be ideal due to their extra "oh #$%^" buttons when you leave multiple drakes up. I do this as a Prot Warrior all the time though, but I often wish I had another button. Positioning Sartharion at the front of the island with the bulk of his body in the lava seems to work best.
OT1 - The Drake Tank. Needs to know where they land and be there without fail. Misdirects can also be used.
OT2 - Add Tank. Stands on Tenebrons portal to pick up whelps as they come in and rounds up the fire adds. DK and Prot Pally are ideal, but Prot Warriors and Druids can do it as well. Tanks acolytes inside the portals when Shadorn and Vesperon are down, but a fury warrior or ret paladin can do it as well in a pinch.
